The EU Biodiversity Strategy until 2030 in the framework of the European Green Pact ☘️has set ambitious targets. The EU has committed to planting at least 3 billion additional trees by 2030, marking a significant step towards increasing our planet’s biodiversity and combating climate change. The planting of all these trees should be done in full respect of ecological principles. To this end, the Commission will facilitate, encourage, account for and monitor the process by ensuring political and technical support, communication and labeling.
